Sure, the weather is sunny
& warm (usually around the mid 80's and up) and canoeing the Russian River
is a blast and a great way to cool off on a summer day. But while you're having
fun, please follow these tips and rules for a safer and happier trip.
| • |
LIFE
JACKETS. Although the Russian River is known mostly for extreme beauty and generally
is not considered to be a "whitewater experience", there is still some
current and swiftness at various intervals along the canoeing routes (enough to
make it fun), and sometime canoes do tip over. So please wear your life jacket.
We provide each canoeist with a life jacket! |
